Tastee Diner With Friendly Service in Bethesda
Tastee Diner With Friendly Service in Bethesda
After an appointment in Bethesda on Sunday morning, we were looking for a quick place to stop, not wanting to drive an hour back to Baltimore before having a bite.
So we checked our GPS for restaurants and found this 24 hour Tastee Diner and stopped in. Right away, we felt welcome.. greeted with smiles like they were really happy to see us.
It was comfort food in a comfortable place..nothing fancy...well of course not..this was a diner. A quick meal of French toast for Lee and a plate of pancakes with eggs for me, hit the spot.
Mary, our waitress, was a delight, serving us with a big smile and telling us she had been working at the Tastee Diner for twenty three years..wow that's a long time in a little diner. I am glad she was there with her friendly manner and always ready to refill our coffee. When I asked if I could take her picture, she did not hesitate for a moment.
The sign on the wall We Thank You For Your Patronage and Friendship said a lot. We felt welcome and satisfied. If you are ever in the area, stop in and say 'hi' to Mary.
How do you make your clients feel welcome and at home like this friendly little diner?
