Sunset, Fireworks and Lightning

We were fortunate to be with friends for their annual Fourth of July Party celebration which always ends with fireworks.

The weather was threatening. The sky was grey and there was lightening.

Usually we wait for dark to begin the display. But not last night.

The fireworks started as the sun was setting in a beautiful orange sky with a bit of rain and some lightening.
