The Versatility of a Ranch Home in Baltimore
Have you thought about the versatility of a ranch home...no not one with horses but a one story rancher with accessibility and few or no steps!
Ranchers can have have beautiful curb appeal and my favorites are the sprawling structures that have a contemporary feel..especially with cathedral or high ceilings and an abundance of glass for that light, bright, open feeling of spaciousness.
When I think rancher, I think of a forever home... a home that can house a young family with growing children, teenagers, college bound young adults, caretakers and extended family. I think of parents being able to age in place or stay with the family. I think of boomerang kids. I think of the grandchildren coming back home or being able to spend time with Gramps and Grandma. I think of families with disabilities. I think of friends and family with conditions that would not allow them access to other style homes. I think of a home for entertaining where all guests are welcome regardless of age or mobility restrictions. Do you think I am more aware because of my former nursing career?
In the Baltimore area, I have a few wonderful ranchers.
