Artist Jerry Scherr Shares His Art and A Birthday in Baltimore

A few weeks ago there was a settlement but it was not at a boring title or real estate office.

                                             

Monday was a very special day, January 10th, 2011 and it was Jerry Scherr's 89th birthday.  A call in the morning from freelance photographer, Chris Ammann, asking to set up an appointment for a photo shoot to go with  this weekend's story in the Baltimore Jewish Times  

My response..let's do it today! What better way to celebrate an  89th birthday.

I took some photos to capture the prolific artworks of this talented artist. I love Jerry's smile!

A watchmaker and jeweler by trade, much of his art incorporates timepieces.

     

Mr. Scherr also works in wood, plastic, and stained glass.

     

                          His oils paintings are beautiful..look at the details of Einstein's hands.
