Kids Helping Hopkins Reaches Goal! First Kilometers For Kids 2011...Congratulations! 

This picture has to make everyone feel so proud. Below is the email from my friends Anita and Sam Rozenel, founders of Kids Helping Hopkins,  who describe these special men in Kuwait...supporting Kids Helping Hopkins and are wearing the Kilometers For Kids in Kuwait Tee Shirts!

'This is a picture of our cousin Colonel Michael Cohen and fellow who took part in Kilometer for Kids "at 0700" on Saturday.  Sam was able to take the Facebook link for the photo and make it into an attachment for everyone to see.   Michael is on the front row, second from the left.  We are still so moved by their participation, and they are wearing the "Kilometer for Kids in Kuwait" t-shirts that Michael had made and sold to  raise funds for Hopkins Children's.  

Our Kilometers for Kids 5K/2K at Oregon Ridge was a huge success....it is our hope that the entire National Guard troop who participated halfway around the world will remain  safe and will be back here for next years Kilometers for Kids!!
