Two Thoughtful Ole Buzzards....

Two thoughtful ole buzzards greeted us today as we did the walk through prior to settlement.  Well they didn't exactly greet us..they were very busy with lunch. Cannot say what they were dining on but for sure it was a feast!
Unnoticed until we went down to the patio level... I wanted  to get some close ups. Darn, we must have scared them away. If only they had waited. Would have been good to get them in flight.
                                                                                                                                                                                                

This was the first time I have seen, what the buyers called, Turkey Vultures.
Other names are Turkey Buzzards or Carrion Crows.

They feed almost entirely on medium-sized dead animals and use their sense of smell and sight to find food while flying at low levels. Road kill seems to be the meal of choice!

It was very thoughtful of these two ole buzzards to clean up the yard on settlement day!
