If Only They Could Talk!   What are some of your favorite collections?

People collect many things and for many different reasons. I have seen collections of Frogs, owls, miniature chairs, turtles, hippos, giraffes, Pigs with a sense of humor, owls, butterflies, baskets, heart shaped items, and antique baby furniture.

There are  many reasons for these collections...some collect for pleasure, some collect for investment, some collect to recall history, some collect because it  brings a lot of pleasure and a sense of order.

This week I found a very special collector of Rag Dolls and I was able to get a few photos. There must have been a couple hundred of these raggedy dolls. There is probably a story that goes with each and every one. Can you imagine the children they once pleased?
