Meet Makai... Do You Know What Makai Means?

                  

When I correspond with one of my favorite sellers, a photographer, she frequently sends me one of her photos.   Today I received this "thirst  quenching" photo of Makai, her beautiful puppy.

Did you know that Makai is the Hawaiian word for "Towards the Sea". Since there is one main highway in Hawaii,the driving directions are given by "Malka"(turn toward the mountain) or "Makai" (Towards the Sea).
