Baltimore Humane Society is a private non-profit animal welfare organization serving Baltimore City, Baltimore County and the state of Maryland at large. Like most non-profits, we hold out our hands every day and ask for help from individuals and organizations that wish to support us.

So what makes us different? Our fundraising efforts reflect a code of ethics that are predicated on one very simple belief:

"We believe that individuals give to the Humane Society do so for no other reason other than to help pets."
