Thank you Erica!

There was no special occasion, no birthday, no  Father's Day ..just a special gift from a special daughter that made Daddy feel better. Thank you Erica for being so thoughtful!

Taking a Break From Listing and Selling Real Estate.

I now have to go back to listing and selling real estate but it is always  fun taking a break.

Until Phoebe adjusts to us,  I am going to show you a few of my outside friends.

Using the Tripod suggested by William Johnson, I am able to get some clearer photos.

I really like capturing my squirrels and the photos below are better than these greedy little critters! or even these.

Beauty Inside...With Outside Temperatures in the Teens

I was planning to write another blog about my busy weekend and all the showings in the last two days but Lee was appreciating  the newest arrangement. This was in the middle of the football game. So of course I went in to take a look.

Another bunch of those beautiful flowers that Are Not Roses But They Still Smell Good!

He did it again a few days ago. TLH came home with more flowers. Enjoying the last ones so much and being in the middle of our chilly winter season with temperatures in the teens and low twenties, what a treat. The last lilies lasted about ten days. These should be around even longer. There are quite a few tight buds that will be opening at different times.

They really are beautiful and oh so fragrant.

If you need some more examples of pretty flowers...take a look at
these two arrangements or   this rose  or  a gift from TLH or even these green rose.

With Flowers and Beauty, It Does Not Always Have to be Roses!

You can call me lucky that my Lee enjoys bringing home flowers. You remember this guy..I wrote about him using ...My Best Close Ever and Forever

By the way, I have to have these posts relate to real estate in some way!

Most weeks he brings home flowers , frequently roses, but he has gotten more adventurous lately. I think he is enjoying how I arrange, photograph and then make a story for others to read. Here are the latest two. I think he was trying to go  purple for the Ravens, even the roses had a purplish tint. And this week it was carnations...red, white, pink and then I arranged them with some greenery. Quite pretty if I say so myself.

Think I am starting to like this flower arranging...it was just a bit easier with    these roses and these Roses and these roses and even Green Roses

While we are on the subject of flowers and nature...well we weren't but since it is my post, we are now. This is a picture of Baltimore's first dusting of snow taken right outside my office window. This fits right in with the Christmas photos and 31 Day Challenge.

One Bunch of Flowers produced a "Twofer"

It all starts with a big bunch of flowers brought home by TLH! Too many colors, too many different flowers..how to arrange them...hmmm.

Here's the bunch of flowers in the kitchen sink.

Took all the various colors and made my first flower arrangement.

Then I took all the leftover stuff (it is Thanksgiving weekend)  from the big bunch of flowers and created this arrangement which I liked better. Showed it to TLH and he only wanted to know where all the color went. Yep he liked the first one which is on the table near his TV.

No One Will Disagree With Me On This Subject!

Today I received flowers and  I bet  no one will disagree... they are just beautiful. The arrangement looks  good on my coffee table. He Did it Again! I love them both... the roses and TLH!

But yesterday's post about my print advertising did not have everyone agreeing. Take a look...within 24 hours, there were 75 comments on this feature   So forget print advertising ?.... NOT at this time.

Phil Faranda made this comment.. "Margaret- do what works. If I got results from hiring a town crier or taping my card to the inside of men's room stalls, I'd do it.If print ads are working for you, do print ads." Phil had written a featured post with an exact opposite view.

Thanks to Praful Thakkar for reblogging both posts.

These roses are beautiful and I bet no one will will disagree with me on this subject!

Is it our  goal  to write only posts that will get the reaction.."these are pretty flowers"

No One Will Disagree With Me On This Subject! Yes, of course, the flowers are beautiful. If all my writing was to have everyone agree with me, how would I have the chance to teach from my experience? How would I share ideas that have been a success? ....even when others have tried to convince me of what does not work!
