An ActiveRain Member Showed My Listing Today..Thank You Ellie!

 Yesterday I got a call from Ellie McIntire. That's not unusual because members frequently call each other and even get together like this Maryland Meet-Up in September! 

 

 

I recognized her number right away in my iPhone. Ellie was calling for another reason...she was making an appointment on my

How exciting!

I called my seller and told her to start straightening the house. She has two young children and a couple of cats. Ellie was showing a bunch of houses and I did not want to interfere with her schedule. Ellie gave me a two hour window and my seller  was prepared  to leave as soon as the buyer showed up and to call me to let me know when they left.

I would love to do a transaction with Ellie McIntire. Now to wait to see if Ellie's buyers are interested. Do I call Ellie for feedback or wait for her to call me? 

Or maybe Ellie just might make a comment on this post.

Only for Margaret Rome would I sit in Rush Hour traffic- The Maryland AR Meet-Up!

Ellie took the time to put this video together and make my day  very special.
What a fabulous birthday present. Love the way Ellie put the gatherings together. This was a lot of work but each second was appreciated by me.
Ellie  helped make each gathering special and today was another success. In spite of the weather and the traffic... Ellie was  there to take pictures and share with all of us.

Only for someone special would I subject myself to a jaunt on the Baltimore beltway in RUSH HOUR. Traveling a mere 5 miles takes half an hour in bumper to bumper traffic at 4:30 in the afternoon!. But Margaret Rome IS VERY SPECIAL.

When Active Rain announced their "Meet-Up's" after the "Rain Camp Webinar". I knew it was only a matter of time before the AR Queen of meet-ups would be setting the time and place.........but at the busiest time of the day?

I sent Margaret a message and said that the only way I could attend is if my 5 year old side kick would not be a problem. Within the hour I had a voice mail that he was welcome to join us. (As it happened he was invited on a play date so did not make it.)

Flash flood warnings and continual rain plagued the day. Despite all, a merry band of Active Rain chums gathered at the Suburban House restaurant in Pikesville. It was like a family reunion.

Yesterday, Saturday February 5th 2011, sandwiched in between new Buyers in Elkridge and a military family relocating to the area and wanting to purchase in Ellicott City, I had the incredible pleasure of joining a hearty bunch of people from Active Rain for Lunch at The Suburban House on Reisterstown Road in Baltimore.

Margaret Rome was our gracious and generous hostess. Last year in March I enjoyed a lovely Active Rain evening with delicious Maryland Crabcakes thanks to Margaret.

It was quite a "who's who" with a lot of wonderful people. Who do you see?
